I've been struggling with buttons and zippers these days. I am sure you can all imagine why! I've shared with some of you that this is sort of a strange time in pregnancy and many of you have agreed. Now that the nausea and dizziness have passed, the only evidence of our pregnancy seems to be frequent bouts of crying and the sensation that I am getting...well...fat. At least once the latter has been the cause of the former, which brings me back to my struggle with buttons and zippers. Of course I know that I am not getting fat! I'm getting pregnant! During my rational moments this fills my heart with jubilation and hope regardless of what's filling my pants. This brings me to the point of this post - a shameless product endorsement. The Bella Band is nothing more than a wide spandex band. It is pulled up around the waist and down across the hips. Once a shirt is put over it, it just looks like a tank top peeking out the bottom of the shirt. The best part is that it can be worn over pre-pregnancy pants. There is no need to try to button or zip them because the band holds them up! Also, you can wear it over maternity clothes that are still a little too loose. I just got mine and I love it. I just wish I had a sewing machine because I think they would be a snap to stitch!
