Three Weeks of Bliss
James has done such a good job of posting pictures. Our blogs really have become our family album. He encouraged me to add a bit of narrative to the images so that we can have some journal entries to boot. It has been an incredible three weeks. James and I are continuously saying what an amazing baby Finn has proven to be and then we knock on the nearest thing to be, or resemble, wood. He rarely cries and when he does, he is easily soothed by having one of the needs on his short list of such fulfilled. He was sleeping great with a four hour stretch every night. Recently he has decided he is hungry - a growth spurt, we think. He has had his meals one to two hours apart for the last few days. This has left me feeling a little fuzzy around most edges and slightly tender around a few others. He can lift his head up off the ground and seems to like to be on his tummy during our daily play times. He makes eye contact and listens to James and me talk to him. I imagine this will last throughout our lifetimes, right? Mostly, he is cuddly, soft, and sweet. Every so often he gets the cutest, and slightly goofy, grin on his face and we just melt. I was a giant puddle when he accompanied his smile with giggles yesterday! Finn sends his love to all of you...
